I know I am painfully new here but I noticed the lack of an IC tavern chat, I was wondering how many others would be interested in such a thing and whether or not it would be possible to implement? While I'm aware there may be some issues revolving around RP between people in different areas perhaps there could be limited to, or trusted to remain within, a room that is set up for their Kingdom?

It is just a thought of course, would anyone else be interested in something like this?

I don't go into the tavern because it's not RP/IC. I'd love to have an RP/IC tavern to hang out as Kata. I have all my friends on msn, so there's no need for me to go into the current OOC/Non-RP tavern.

You enter the tavern as Kata de Rose. Sometimes wilhelm will try to convert you. Other people will call 'fishermen' the Irish knights or congratulate on your last victories. Of course everything is within the game.
As you probably notice, we use to speak about the game, possibly too much. It's still the tavern of the game.
Not role-play area means that we post our 'roles' in the board, the tavern is for a small chat that could disappear in the next second.

ahh okay, that is a little misleading, the opening message somewhat implies that it is an OOC tavern?

Indeed, otherwise I wouldn't be fooling around as Semi-OOC so much(I drift into unofficial character play in such places. Acting with my character, but not as he's defined and without to much concern for politics. It's just humorous to have your character go wild in ways he wouldn't normally sometimes )

On a related point, I think it would be a good idea if there were a Tech Support tavern/chat. Often problems are quickly solved that way.

As previously said it is an ooc character, so you may "play" some with your Knights, or have a talk about the weather or what you gonna have for dinner (in real) and no one will care. In my view thats more a favor because many Newbies having questions concerning the game might be frightend asking questions about the game itself when always being "pointed back" to their Knight and all that role-play stuff.

RP is on board, tavern for talk (even if you have all your friends in msn you might find new ones^^).

On german server we do also have an IRC-Chat you may directly connect over your Ritterheere account, no idea we don't have this option in KH as well.

EDIT: We also had the idea of a national tavern on german server when first Nations started to grow over 70 - 80 Knights, but I have forgotten why that idea was dropped

Such questions, from "Newbies", are the main reason to have a tech support chat...
