if I want to defence my shire it needs to creation a new army or only my knights must save Battle-Configuration on 30 vp?

Hy.. your shire always has a defence.. even it is a very small one..

If your hire is attacked by an army the farmers will defend it, if you have built up militia it will be defensed by armed forces and if you built up extended militia it will de defensed my elite-militia-forces. Sound better than it ist. An Army of five (average) experienced knights with good equipment will run through it like a hot knife through butter.

When you have knights without an army in the shire they will fight in the battle and will defend it with 80% of their normal battle-power.

If you have an army on the shire the knights will defend with 100% battlepower. If the army was standing there one scoring before the attacker army moved on the shire, it also will block some moves of the enemy forces. Look for the block rules in the help. There it is better explained than my english could do this^

Hmmmm What is for you "average" knights then Ansgar ? I ask because I do not agree with you at all. For example battle Poland vs Pechenges.

Poland: ext. militia
Pechenges: 5 VERY STRONG knights + 6 Protectors (each of this knight has 1 protector and the strongest one has 2)

Score: Pechenges win - on the battlefiled stay 3 knights (all protectors died)

So generally I think ext. Milita is not so bad. Because Pechenges are great in my opinion.

Ps. Other thing is that in few weeks later the same Pechenges team kill without problems Militia, Serbs army + Croatian Army + few polish knights (without army).

that was a bloodbath let me tell you.

I think Ansgar means average in RH terms, not (yet) average in KH terms.

It might be fun if there were some way to move one's Knight between RH and KH (and vice versa) to see the difference. Perhaps only for a limited time (two RL weeks, say).

BTW - it's no wonder Black Jack goes around attacking everyone: almost no-one takes the care to spell his nation's name correctly! The spelling is "Pechenegs", and was previously "Petschenegs" if I recall correctly. It's quite an insult (in game, so that's OK) not to bother to use the correct spelling (not just here but in many many other threads!), so it's no surprise when he attacks you (I'll be next, I'm sure).

If I would wrote anything to the Black Jack, for sure I would check spellings few times before I would send any message to him.

And do not change history. Black Jack doesn't attack Poland because we insult them, NO. They attack us because Emperor Florian ask them to do so, and they have some kind of duty to him. So please do not mess facts.

I wrote Pechenegens , because something is like that in my language

had no ide until (that time i read it carefully) that it's Pechenegs.
