The Sign of the Beast      24.07.2012 03:26:10 --- 9 Months, 4 Weeks ago
It's for Queen Anne and her ears only! says James when Littlejon left the vikings camp. Tell her that I saw the Sign of the Beast!

He tried all day to see Queen Anne but gets the same answer from the guards:
The Queen is in the Council and cannot be disturbed!

From the stairs of queen's residence, he could admire the square, the merchants selling their wares, people laughing and exchanging gossips.
It's not their war.. but on the second thought Littlejon could not stop to ask himself: It isn't?

A skinny monk slowly advancing draw Littlejon's attention. The dusty clothes suggest he is coming from afar.
From time to time the monk check the road with a stick.
The man is blind!

Littlejon hurry up to give a hand, but the monk refuse any help. He made his way to the crowd and his penetrating voice turn all the heads in his direction when he start speaking:

People of Languedoc, listen to me! I saw the Beast rising out of the sea and the Darkness swallowing the Light!
I saw Italy and Saxony knelling before the Beast and praying to her.

Because it is written:
They worshiped the Beast, saying, "Who is like the Beast, and who can fight against it?"

Italy and Saxony sold you out like cattle to the muslems and the Beast is heading here. No one will spared, young or old, rich or poor, because it is written:
And the Beast was given a mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming His name. Also it was allowed to make war on the Saints and to conquer them.

People of Languedoc, prepare yourselves for your doom!

An appeasing silence embrace the square, ended by a child crying.

James was right! I need to see the Queen immediately!

Sludgeslurper: Greece is my favourite so far "alcahol is free, alcahol is free!"
Tech-Mod-Bella: We looked it up - nowadays you all do it with falsetto to soar up into lofty heights - castrati singers are a thing of the past.
Sludgeslurper: i will have nightmares
Tech-Mod-Bella: Liked it or shocked speechless?
Sludgeslurper: yes
Tech-Mod-Bella: The countertenor?
