As so often, Wulfgar's reaction took Ish by surprise and she gave him a grateful smile. Already she had put all bladed weapons to the side and she still fit in her leather armor. But as time progressed, so would her weapons practice. She kissed Maleus again and ran her hand over his side. "I will take care of our child, don't worry. But I can't sit in the longhouse and knit. I was brought up to be a warrior, not a housewife."
Thordis appeared with a tray of lunch which she set on a table before she disappeared again, not without Ish thanking her. She took some bread and cheese and began to eat, glad that her stomach was no longer rebelling at the mere thought of food. She chewed and swallowed before getting back to her husband's earlier question. "Of course I am sure, otherwise I would not have told you. And when.. well.." Her sapphire eyes took on a mischivious twinkle. "I am not sure if that's a matter for everyone to hear?"
