Somewhere in the Adriatic Sea
It's been days since the ship left the port of Dukjla, Lord Warhammer considered himself lucky that he found himself a ship in Serbia that is bound to the holy land. The serbs traded honey in exchange for incense in Jerusalem. While on board, Lord Warhammer met an old merchant named Ezekiel who is on the other hand seeks fortune and adventure to the holy land. "What brings you to Jerusalem master hospitaller?" Ezekiel asked. "I am joining the crusades old man, I am going to fight for God and Christianity". answered Warhammer. "I see, I heard that muslim fanatics from africa and arabia are amassing armies that would assault and take over the holy land." said Ezekiel. "What you heard is true old man, that is why I'm doing my part for this so called holy war. "Our order of the Knights Hospitallers, the Knights Templar, and the Holy Roman Empire will not allow that to happen. Jerusalem is a haven for both christians, jews, and muslims alike." said Warhammer. "But don't the muslims have their own "holy" place as well?" asked Ezekiel. "Ahh..yes...the Mecca from the kingdom of Arabia." answered Warhammer. "Well if that's the case then why won't they go to Mecca instead? Mecca is under control of barbarians, thieves, murderers and criminals since it has no existing government to represent their nation." said Ezekiel. "I think you're right old man but i certainly don't understand the mind of an infidel. Nonetheless, when the time comes, we will defend the holy land even if it cots our lives. God wills it!" Warhammer snapped. "Very well then master hospitaller, I wish you luck in your journey. Anyway, would you like to try some of my merchandise? " I brought myself some grape wine, would you like to try them? Don't worry it's free." offered Ezekiel. "I thank you for your offer Ezekiel and may God be with you too." thanked Warhammer. The two men enjoyed their wine while watching the sunset from the horizon and for Lord Warhammer, luck and faith alone will not always be there to protect him from the incoming tides of war.
