-I am sad my lady,because i can not give you wedding you deserve.We are at war,for me it is inapropriate to have a feast while so many of our lands are in danger ,and our Tzar is imprisoned by enemies.

So our ceremony will be modest and main guests will be knights and soldiers,we will be wedd beneath old Oak tree,our music will be war horns.

I am a soldier and destiny gives me to find a wife in war and marry in army.

So let our marriage be strong as armors of soldiers,our children tall as spears,their voices strong as war horns,their legs strong as war horses.

Young Lorelei, Countess and Lady of the Pechenegs, sat in front of a large mirror and combed her long golden hair. Her voice, crystal clear, intonated an ancient song.
She was confused. One moment her heart was as kight as a butterfly, the other moment it was as heavy as the leaden kettle of the alchemist.
All her young life she had been hunted by slave traders until the Pechenegs gave her home and security. She came from an island far away in the baltic sea. The gods of her folks were Odin and Thor, Baldur and Frigga, Freya and Loki, Heimdall and so many others she couldn't remember their names. Her parents had died when she was 4 years old - a Viking horde had pillaged their home near the coast. Lorelei had hid herself and she nearly starved before her uncle found her. But he was a poor man too and he was barely able to find food for his own family. So he gave his niece to a richer family for adoption.
They were rich but ruthless. No more than two weeks had gone after she was adopted when she was sold as a slave.
Though only 5 years old she knew pretty well what it meant to be enslaved. She seemd so weak that she wasn't bound but only pent-up with the other slaves. So in the first night, even before she could be branded, she managed to escape. The slave traders hunted her and she had to flee so far away to the East to finally be safe. None of these slave hunters wanted to mess up with the Pechenegs and they gave her a new life. She could decide in freedom, where she wanted to live, what God or Gods she wanted to prey to, what work she wanted to earn her salary from. In her very early years she had learned a lot from her father, one of the best smiths on Gotenland. So she decided to become a blacksmith herself and she was so successful that in no time she became wealthy enough to be chosen as Countess. All the new weapons - axes and swords - had never been seen in such quality in the land of the Pechenegs.
When thinking about her past, she was melancholy that yet she hadn't chosen a God to prey to.
Her ancient Gods were part of her childhood and she wanted to forget about that time. Dagon, the Pecheneg native's God seemed to be too cruel to her.
Last week she was asked for her hand - a fine young Prince of Serbia, Derg, asked her. She was delighted and couldn't resist this man, although he didn't ask in person. He had sent a messenger as he was bound in battles. A picture, a fine drawing, was part of the message. He was such an important man - chancellor or whatever they called it here.....
She had given her word and at the moment the preparations took place. She couldn't wait - she was soooo excited.
But she was in an army camp too and fighting for the peace of her proposed's nation was the top priotity at the moment.
So she had to exercise in patience - the wedding would come and she would have her Prince - a good choice for her, as the elder Pecheneg knights let her knew.

Pechengies and like she said,she personnally,took catholic faith and i am biggest enemy of catholics in Serbian Empire probably.

Pechengies like nation are sneaky bastards by my opinion.Because of their acts during the war is just my word and feeling of responsibility toward my ex-wife stoped me to dont divorce immidietly.

because our week together she will be always spared by me in some future conflict with pechengies,for others will be no mercy.

Titles are just words on paper,I was realeased from some and I refused to keep some as most of Serbian knights can witnnes ,but thats our internal thing,and reasons for that.

Good luck in next marriage and have bunch of daughters ,males if become warriors will be noticed like enemies from me like any other pechengi.
