I'd say we delete both petitions and claims to start all over again with the CoK.

Your proposal would mean (in my eyes) every RP will have to be deleted after your Knight died.

Just saying most of the topics down there are a lot of flames, agressions and pointless accusations from all sides involved back then. It's not quite history of the game rather the dilemma of a paranoid community. At least the locked ones I'd say.

There's a big difference between OOC discussion and the rp record.

Additionally I think both of you might be overestimating how much new players read the backlog of information on the boards.

I think there's quite a bit of merit to the proposal of clearing up the petition and council board periodically anyway. To condense with a single post (managed perhaps by the rp mods) that shows the "rulings" or rule adjustments that have come out of these petitions for easy reference. (which is more or less already done)

So in short... I agree, Dietrich has a good idea here.

petitions are open to public , councils are not

I don't see what's the problem the old topics to stay. It's not like they're poking eyes or something. If the Council is assembled once again you can just keep making new petitions, and the old ones will stay for refference or just for the sake of it.

Sevar. Because we'd rather the community not be represented by bitter arguments and flame wars... that's why cleaning it out periodically would be a good idea.
