Papikaze was in a hurry. The last Pechenegs were about to pack their bags. They would show the aggressors what it means to fight for freedom. He had just been informed, that the last shires of the Pechenegs are assaulted again by their numerous foes - those foes trying to force the Pechenegs into a peace treaty. But for the Pechenegs only freedom is an option and so they would rather fight to the last man standing than beginning to negotiate.
After a quick meeting with the Counts and Barons Papikaze ordered any available scriber to his tent.
He told them to write these following words down, if necessary in blood, and copy them and send them all over the world to the farest nations in the West, North, South and East:
QUOTE:
Dear ruler of a nation, dear knight, Count, Chancellor,
if you receive this letter and you love your freedom, please read on, read about the fate of the Pechenegs and if you'd like, join our fight for the freedom of the small nations.
Once the Pechenegs were laughed at, they were patronized and looked at snootily. So we decided to give the answer on the fields of honour. Our small armies were capable of bringing death and destruction to those who had treated us without respect. They burnt our land when we were fighting them far away from our homelands. When they finally managed it to hunt our army down, we decided to hide into the bushes and make our way home as single knights one after another. Then we reconquered our shires with the best will to keep peace from then on.
But then the cowards began to march against our land again. First it had only been the Knights Templar, a nation four times so numerous as we were - and we managed to defend - then Byzantium joined them, nearly as big as the Knights Templar - and we still managed to defend.
Finally even Poland, a nation eight times as large as we joined the enemy side and from that moment on we were significantly outnumbered and they took all our shires from us, except our castle.
We then decided to jump into our boats to pull the fight to their shires, but some of us, including our King Black Jack, decided to take one last attempt to reconquer some shires. By that time I had already been on the Black Sea, direction to the Southwest, when a message was handled to me, that our King and some of our Knughts had been captured by the enemy. So we figured out another plan and conquered some shires to finally make an attempt to free our King. Although we gave our very best, our 13.000 men were not able to take a victory over more than 40.000 Polish knights.
So we retreated to our castle were we are currently stuck.
We will continue fighting but before we go into what may become our last fight, we want to give the nations of this world a strong call.
We set a prize for the heads of our enemies, for the head of Protosebastos Smelgar, better known as the Byzantian Satan, for the head of King Wladyslaw Leszczynski, the Plague of Poland and Grandmaster Hyrkan de Silcross, the Templar of the devil. Instead of fighting us one on one, these cowards needed to merge their troops and now we are outnumbered more than 8:1, without any chance of defending one of our shires other than our castle - and so again they are here to raid our land.
Any nation who loves its freedom should now join us in fight and not allow, that 3 large nations force on small nation under their will.
The prize for each head will be 1.000 Silver and it will be payed as soon as we are able to, after seeing the corresponding head.
Nations of the world, do not allow these cowards to force anyone under their will. Stop fighting any other foe and help us fighting these foes as they do have an ambition to control our world - and how boring would this be without any battle time by time?
For the Pechenegs
Papikaze of Kyoto, Foreign Minister.
P.S.: Should I be dead by the time you come with one of these heads, simply show it together with this letter to anyone Pecheneg and you will receive the prize!
Papikaze made the messengers hurry up distributing his letter all over the world. quite sure that no one would follow his call - but at least he had tried.

QUOTE: Dear Papikaze of Kyoto, Foreign Minister of Pechenegs
It saddens my heart the news you bring, that Monstrous Coalition lay siege on the last Bastion of Freedom.
It was England first who fall, cowardly attacked when only a few knights in training was present at home, The brave Moors and now the Pechenegs.
I'll tell ya, nobody will respond to the call of defending the Freedom, the nations are either allied or live in fear.
I was requested the Queen to free me of the oath and the obligations, but so far she didn't made her mind. Since I don't represent anybody that myself, I plan to join as a simple knight, if you accept me.
The Darkness cover the world and very soon the day when the sun won't rise again will come.
Because is written: "The Four Horsemen of Apocalypse will come and cover the world in Darkness.."
Here they are..
Gregory I the Faithful

QUOTE: Dear Papikaze of Kyoto, minister of foreign affairs of the Petschenengs,
long time ago I had the honesty to face your King eye by eye on the fields of Honor myself. And I am really upset to hear your tale of the last years. I would really prefer to face him on Battle-Field again, since both we are made by war.
But we, the saxon Paladines of the Lord do have to withdraw your offer, because of two simple reasons:
First of all, we are no mercenaries.
Second, but maybe even better: Saxons go wherever they want, thats our freedom, which is only orderd by the Lord himself.
Kind regards
Alrik vom Greifenstein
King of Saxony

As the templar army was marching through the border of Donetsk and Lugansk, a party of 5 scouts of those that had been installed in the outskirts of the Pecheneg Castle, approached the templar lines bearing with them something hairy... which looked like a human wrapped in leather and fur. What is this, brothers?
My lord, we intercepted this messenger, if we can call him this way that is, bearing a letter which we thought you should open. There were more of them, heading westwards.
Very well... let me see it. Hyrkan took the parchment and started reading. Midway through the letter, he started laughing so heartily that the scouts thought something had taken upon him. The Templar Devil eh? Now that is some fine literature, for a Pecheneg that is. It might even remind me of Gregory the Mad. Though his adjectives were much more inspired... ah, God bless you Pecheneg messenger, you have brought me a good laugh. Now then, this needs a reply, if you would be so kind as to give back to your master.
QUOTE:
To the esteemed Papikaze of Kyoto, Pecheneg Foreign Minister
Your grace, i might say that your letter almost gave me a heart attack. At a point, i laughed so much i thought my heart would cease from beating. But thanking you for this is not the reason i reply to this letter. In your letter, as in many more, i have seen you talking about cowardice, freedom, and honor. So, can i ask were the Pecheneg honor was, when you were slaying innocents by thousands across Europe? When did you respect the freedom of these peasants? The souls of those that became sacrifice to your violent god, Dagon? There is something known as consequences. Your every action has consequences, and it was high time the Pechenegs paid the price for the thousands of lives they have taken. Even though the hand of peace and friendship has been extended to you far more times than you deserved, you declined it every single one. Instead you chose the path of demons, the path that has brought upon you the rightful retribution of those wielding justice. For what has now befallen you is Justice. You have called me a Devil. Which of my actions is one of the Devil's? Ordering my men not to hurt anyone who does not resist and fight? Trying to bring these poor peasants back to the flock of the Lord? Who are you to call me devilish, injust, without honor? One of the warriors of your so called freedom. If you think freedom is slaughter, then i shall deliver to you the price of this "freedom". I shall deliver it to you with steel sharpened by faith. In the name of the Lord, those who have fallen before your swords, and in the name of one true Justice.
Hyrkan de Silcross
Grandmaster of the Order
As he was writing the letter, Hyrkan's eyes were blazing with rage. Take this, and bring it to your master, and be grateful that we are christians and no pagans, otherwise you would return without hands.

Virilis read Papikaze of Kyoto's letter. He laughed:
- I AM A DEVIL! I AM A EVIL! I have his King, his Queen, his best Warrior, and soon I will have his fiefdom. When I will have his wife.. he will to know that he is wrong! HIs Freedom is there where are corpses of our peasants. His Freedom is there where is my peace offer. He didnt want it, he will have NOTHING! Pechengs need new leader, and they need new Will to Peace. - he called Sorka and ordered him: - find me last Warior. His name is Abdul. He is last from Great Five. When we will have all of them, it will be end of this story.

QUOTE:
Dear Papikaze of Kyoto,
we have recieved your letter and that to be honest is a surpise. For whenever we met your people we had the impression they could not write. Now we know they can I must come to the conclusion that all the numerous times king Black Jack attacked our armies, our friends or anyone else without giving a notice he has just been a backstabbing scoundrel and not a dumbass as we thought before.
Your people have always been mercenaries if you are not aware of that that is your fault and not the fault of the ones who have their revenge now. You have been payed more than once to engage in wars of others and always your task has been to rape and plunder when the armies of the nation you where payed to attack where somewhere else.
Your nation has recieved the silver and you have fulfilled your mission, I can only adivice you to take the consequences for your doings like a man. The fox that attacks the wolfs will be killed by them.
I hope they burn each and every of your villages so that Pechenegs may learn that a warrior fights armies not peasants as your king always liked to do.
You have sold your freedom for Saxon and Anglian silver, ask them to help you as you helped them to execute their cowardly plans in the past. However you will soon find they won't feel like helping their mignion when they can sacrifice you for their doings.
So if they don't help you you should probably leave those cursed lands and hope that you will find a new home where the rulers have more reason. As we have heard you are a relatively new vasall of king Black Jack we do pitty your fate and don't hold your responsible in person. Thus I do hereby invite you to find shelter in Sweden once the old man on your throne gets what he deserves.
Hoping this letter finds you well enough to understand the lesson of it,
Dietrich den Uxi,
Konungr av Sverige och Finmark
*singed and sealed with the Royal Ox*

The Pechenegs were sailing to the South. When the enemies armies decided to take their fiefs again they took the chance to bring war back to where it came from - to the aggressors, to Byzantium and the Order - Poland would have to wait, of course!
Near the Southern coast of the Black Sea a small, fast messenger boat appeared, bringing some answers to the letter he had sent to the whole known world and beyond.
He started reading and appreciated the very first one falling into his hand.
Immediately he took something to write and answered:
QUOTE: "To Gregory I the Faithful, Foreign Minister of England,
dear Sire, your words enlighten my heart. You are a brave man, may the rest of the world shall be damned for what these creepy crawlers did to you in the past. If it really is your wish to join us Pechenegs in our honourable fight for freedom, you are warmly welcomed. Prior to your decision please consider that currently we aren't able to provide a secure fief to you, but, on the other hand, your help could be needed pretty much.
With all the best wishes for the journey that may lay before you
and may your God bless you
Papikaze of Kyoto"
The second letter was from the King of Saxony and when Papikaze read the words he had to grin. Alrik von Greifenstein must be a fox for writing such words.
He wrote back:
QUOTE:
"To Alrik von Greifenstein, King of all Saxony,
dear majesty, it has never come to our mind to hire your brave nation as merceneries. You may go wherever you want to and we Pechenegs would be pleased if this your goal matches with one or another of our enemies. We won't force anyone to take our silver nor did we intend to cut your freedom in any way.
You call yourself the Fortress of Christendom - we wish you good luck with this task as your fellow believers do not seem willing to keep peace among each other nor with your great nation.
Kind Regards
Papikaze of Kyoto
Foreign Minister of the Pechenegs"
The other two letters were filled with accusations and unacceptable proposals. Especially the King of Sweden tried him to commit treason when offering him asylum from the "ah so awful" land of the Pechenegs. These letters wouldn't require an answer - but maybe he would write one - the other day.
The world should stop to see the Pechenegs as something hairy from the swamps or else they would never have the chance for peace.

Dear Papikaze of Kyoto, Foreign Minister of Pechenegs,
The rumors says that there is a war going on near the Black sea, in which you are involved too. Traders from south who come to our nation to make some profit says that a huge army of Christians are pillaging your lands.
Lithuania would like to help you defending your lands, but I must disappoint that right now we can't do anything because we have some problems inside our nation.. All I can do to you is to wish you good luck with this war.
May gods give you strength.

QUOTE:
Dear Lord Rokas
Foreign minister of Grand Duchy of Lithuania,
what a pity that you are fighting internal struggles. When I was with Kasan I had the chance to learn about the power of the Lithuanian knights and I appreciated to fight at their side. No enemy could stand our combined forces. Those were glory days.
Your troops could be so helpful - but I know how important it is to het things clear in your own nation first.
Let us hope then that this matter does not last long.
With best regards from the sunny southcoast of the Black Sea
Papikaze of Kyoto
