While conversing with the Antioch nobles at the court of Hospitaller capitol, Syria, Gruffudd received a letter from his Car.

He spread the news to the small group of Knights of the Order of St. Mathew that were in Syria, and forwarded the message of the Car to the rest of the knights in Lebanon. Hopefully by the time the letter arrives there, the city of Tyre will already be taken.

From Agios Oros we came to Constantinople. There Church of Holy Sofia amazed us. I went to monastery where are relics of Saint Photios the Great, to bow to this great Christ solder who fight with papal heretics. We continue our journey at coast of Minor Asia. After few mounts we arrived in Antioch, seat of Patriarch Macarus. Unfortunately His Holiness are in Ravenna, and I went to bow to holy antioch’s patriarchs. Here I separated with Order of Saint Matejas and with few companions continue alone to Jerusalem, to bow our Lord.

Because of war with muslimans Jerusalem occupied many solders, but no one stop me where I was on pilgrimage. In Church of the Holy Sepulcher I fall asleep and I saw angel of Lord went to me and said me to continue my fight with papal heretics and save orthodox people. For this dream I awoke and began to thank the Lord that He sent his angel come to me the last one.

After visited of Holy Jerusalem I continue to Alexandria with boat. After a week I arrived in Alexandria. All Bishops come to receive me with many folks from all Africa. Tomorrow Holy Synod of Alexandrian Church ordain me for Patriarch of Alexandria and all Africa in Episcopal Church in Alexandria. People yelled Aksios (Worthy) when Bishops put me in throne of Patriarchs. After many years without Patriarch people of Alexandria and Africa finally have new Patriarch.

After liturgy I go to my office and called my scribe Jeremija to write letter

Let me congratulate you on your elevation. I look forward to the day, hopefully not long removed, when we see your new Serbian office confirmed by the Ecumenical Patriarch, or even, as would be my wish, by a full Ecumenical Council.

I see you have omitted to send copies of your letter to both our Brother the Patriarch of Jerusalem and our Brother the Pope and Patriarch of Rome. I expect that omission of the former is simply a clerical error, but I understand you have entered into a dispute with the latter. It is important to remember that whilst St Photios the Great was steadfast and resolute on the very same issue, he did not break with Rome. Perhaps this was because he recognised that the disputed clause was an Iberian innovation, promulgated by Frankish kings, and long resisted by the Roman Patriarchate. If Rome has deviated from its long held policy on this matter then it should be guided gently back to the truth. Finally, Photios was Ecumenical Patriarch; we are not. Our duty is the help find he who will fill the seat in Constantinople, not to enter into potentially schismatic disputes. If such disputation is necessary, it must be the Ecumenical Patriarch who makes the case.

The Order of St. Mathew made their pilgrimage in trance. If any place on this world made you closer to God, this was it.
Church of the Resurrection, Tomb of the Virgin, Chapel of the Ascension left the Crusaders speechless, this is one of the greatest moments in their lives.

Jerusalem, again under Byzantine protection, was safe. As the Order of St. Mathew made their base in the glorious city of Tyre in Lebanon, The Order also left some men to make posts in the Holy City while the main army of the Order went west of Jerusalem, to the coast, to the harbour.
Palestine and Sinai desert awaited.

The Holy Land was safe, now it was a matter of securing few pilgrimage sites and enforcing the defenses.

After two years in Alexandria in constant danger to be executed by muslims, Synod decided to move Patriarch and Holy Seal to Ajos Oros, in temple of Saint Mathew, protectorate of Serbian Tzardom. We have to do great job. The whole archive was packed and bought to the ships. Holy See was put in subdeck with many holy books and icons.

When time to go was come, people of Alexandria and Bishops in all Africa came to send-off Patriarch Nikanor. Patriarch serve divine liturgy on docks, and communion all who was prepared. When Patriarch step in ship people and clergy kneel down and with tears send-off beloved Patriarch.

Trip was short. After 15 days we came to Ajos Oros where all Protat of Ajos Oros in docks welcomed Patriarch. Where Patriarch with Priors prayed to God, and lithium with Patriarch on front move to new residence of Patriarch. Patriarch consecrate monastery yard and than served divine liturgy with consecrate of Cathedral, divine liturgy served all scared monks from Ajos Oros, too. After liturgy in refectory was set table of love. In meantime servant bring in archive and Holy See was set in Temple.
