Gerard finally arrived Jerusalem, the city that some called Holy, but it was not. In his oppinion is was cursed, to many people died for it, friends and foes alike. While he was in the palace, an old messenger entered. Gerard recognized his face, but did know from where.
When he aproached the man started to talk in a language that Gerard partially knew..good for him, the man said only a few things.
-Gerard de Saint Omer, I bring you a message from Siofra Allyn Braon, my Konungr.
-What?! Hand it over, now!
-Not so quickly, lad!
-How dare you? Do you know who I am? I could order to cut your head right away!
-Yes I know, and I don't care. But before you will cut my head you should hear the other news I bring. Also, you should find someone else to deliver a response to this letter, if you will kill me. Then, he gave the letter to Gerard.
Hearing that the letter was from Siofra, his love, he did not cared too much about the old viking's words, who remained fearless even in another country, even in the front of the second most powerful man in the Fatimid Sultanate.
He stared at it, petrifed. He did not knew what to espect from it...maybe it was a rejection, or maybe she accepted his request. Finally, after he readed it, the letter gave him hope, as he was not rejected.
-I see in your eyes happiness Gerard, you will need it when I will tell the other news I bring, said the old viking, whose name was Haakon. The Banríon of Erin, the ex-Konungrin av Sverige, FallenAngel, have died.
The news came like a lightning on Gerards head. A tear dropped from his eyes.
-It isn't possible, when I last seen her, she was very healthy!
-Most of us belive that the christians are involved, as she died in a very suspicious way.
-Servant, bring me some paper and a quill! Now! And in a blink of an eye, Gerard had all the means to write a letter.
QUOTE:
To Siofra Allyn Braon, Konungrin av Sverige
my love,
I heard that the great Banríon of Erin, FallenAngel, your mother have died. You have my condolences. She was the bravest women I ever meet.
Also, I'm sorry that I could not send you more letters, but, as you may know, we are at war with the christians and in some days I don't have even time to rest, but to write letters; please, don't take it the wrong way, I was thinking about you every second of the day.
Words cannot express my feelings; sadness mixed with joy.
Still, I promise that after the war will be over, I will come to visit you, no matter what will happen. Also, I will have to find more time to write you, even if I will be on the battlefield.
Gerard,
P.S. I forgot to tell you some things.
After I returned from Sweden I discovered that I have a child, a daugther.
Also, I wish I had more men like the viking you sent to me, he is truly fearless.
-Here, this is my reply. Please, protect it with your life! And, if you need anything, tell me!

Siofra was packen up her backs for her first journey through the world when Haakøn returned. Before she went to talk with him, she finished to wrap up the package for Zmeu. The package concluded the crown and a letter.
QUOTE: Dear Zmeu,
I am sorry, but I resign as Konungrin and warrior of Sverige. The pressure is too hard for me to handle and Sverige isn't my home. I know with you Sverige will rise again as the great nation it was under my stepfather
Good luck my friend
Siofra Allyn Braon
Now Haakøn, what do you have for me? A letter from an unpatient guy. And a strange one, if you ask me. He is leading a raid on some kind of holy city named Jerusalem and he acts like it is a sacred task from his gods. The most of those people with only one god are strange, but also interessting. Now give me the letter and keep yourself ready for the journey back. Yes my konungr, I shall make a regiment ready.
QUOTE: Dear Gerard
First of all congratulations with your daughter, but I didn't know that you were married. Secondly thank you for your kind words, may my mother live well on in the Other World. But things changed. I left Sverige for it isn't my land and I miss Ireland so bad that I got a fever from it. At this moment I am on my way home and see how it is there.
I hope that you will be there one day to talk face to face.
Siofra
Ps the regiment who deliver the letter are now yours to command

I`m sorry to hear your message... it`s a sad day always when a warrior leave us, even worst when a Konungrin leave, but today is almost as bad as when Dietrich dissapeared ... Your mother was the ruler of Sweden as Dietrich wife, and you was our ruler by the old ways of Odin, so is quite hard for me to understand ... Yes, I know that Ireland is one of the most wonderful places, your mother told me that more than once, but still ...
Anyway the history seems to be already written, i just want to assure you that you are always welcome in Sweden and you can consider it your home anytime. If we can help you in any other way send us a message, and Odin will guide us.
May Odin take care of you,
Zmeu

Its been months since Gerard received a message from Siofra. He started to worry. As he was meditating, he heard shouts outside the Saint Omer residence; as soon as Gerard appeared on his balcony, he saw many tall men, most of them with snow-white skin, all of them armed to the teeth and clad in chainmails; they had in lead a man Gerard saw before: it was Haakøn. They were arguing with his guards.Things could've got ugly if Waldemar wasnt there; he knew swedish.
-Halt! Gerard shouted in swedish. Both the vikings and his men, who did not know what he said, but they recognized his voice, looked at him. Haakøn, come here, ignore my guards, they will let you pass, but tell your men to stay where they are!
-They are yours now Gerard, replied Haakøn. I think this letter will explain you why.
A few seconds later, Haakøn gave a letter to Gerard.
-This is.. totally unexpected, Gerard said after he readed the letter. Haakøn, let me 2 hours to write back the letter to Siofra ... oh Siofra ... also, your men... I mean, mine, will raise their tents in the courtyard untill I find find a nicer place for them. If you need anything, ask Waldemar, the man you spoke with before me.

As ordered, Haakøn returned 2 hours later. Gerard already waited him with the letter.
-This is the letter. Read it Haakøn and memorize it. If something will happen to the original letter, you will be able to tell its content to Siofra. I trust you. Waldemar, my brother and Isma'il, one of my trusted servant will accompany. I will have to ask you one more thing: let Waldemar do the talking; he knows many languages.
-Very well. Should I read it here or in my tent?
-Here
Then, Haakøn started to read the letter.
QUOTE:
Dear Siofra AlIyn Braon,
chosen of my heart
This are grim new.You know very well that I will be able to walk freely in Ireland only if I will hide my familly name, and I can't do that, its imposible. But I can sitll come, but there will be bloodshed, and I don't want this.
I really want to see you, and talk with you face to face. Maybe you will come to this sunny land that I call home one day, your mother did, and she liked it.
I wish I could've write you more, but as I said, words cannot express feelings, but we will have all the time for talking when we will meet, if you even want to meet me.
Yours,
Gerard de Saint Omer
P.S. I can't wait to see in action the regiment you've sent me.Thank you

QUOTE: To Gerard the Saint Omer
I am sorry for sending another letter before I read yours. I know it will be lying for me to be read when I am home. But unfortunaly I am very ill and my stay in England is longer than expected. I forgot something to tell you in the letter. The blame that lied on your family name is restored with the honor you deserve. Any man or woman who tries to hurt you, calls the scorn of the Seansailear of Ireland.
I keep on hoping that I will see you once.
Siofra
