QUOTE:
To Ljudislav, Car of all the Serbs,
I answer you from the Holy City of Jerusalem itself - we have managed to capture it against the Fatimids on surprise, but their hordes are massing near the city, and I fear we will be overrun soon.
Although I cannot wait to see my homeland once again, it is with heavy heart that I am leaving my mission in the Holy Land while it is in highest danger.

An important message from the Order of St. Mathew reached the Prince of Antioch. Using a clever tactics the knights of this brave and honorable order was able to reconquer the Holy City of Jerusalem. What a shame for the glorious armies of the enemy. To hold Jerusalem would be very difficult. But for a short moment Christian flags waved from the walls of the Holy City.
The Prince decided to wrote a short message to Gruffud, Grandmaster of the Order of St. Mathew.
QUOTE: To Gruffudd, Princ of Serbia, Grand Master of the Order of St. Mathew,
dear brother in Christ. With great joy I and all knights of Antioch heard about your magnific and splendid deed conquering Jerusalem back. Your fight will have a particular place in the history of the Holy Land. The courage and bravery shown by you and your knights will ever be a paragon for the Hospitallers. It's a great honor to fight side by side with you.
Maybe Jerusalem falls again in the hands of the followers of the selfmade prophet. Be sure your coup of main will be the dawn of the steady liberation of Jerusalem.
Yours brother in faith
Hugh of Montfort
Prince of Antioch
Grand Master of the Order of the Hospitallers

QUOTE:
To Hugh of Montfort,
Prince of Antioch,
Grand Master of the Order of the Hospitallers,
Dear brother in Christ and arms, I thank you for your kind words.
We have managed to destroy some of the fortifications that the Fatimids made, so if a battle takes place with Holy Christian armies besieging the Muslim Warlords in Jerusalem, it will be easier.
My Emperor has called us back to homeland, and our presence will be replaced with mighty Hungarian Knights, which will be of great assistance, if the Muslims do not get chased away in the following days already.
It has been an honor to fight alongside you, brother.
We will help out any assaults on our way home. I hope that one day The Order of Saint Mathew will come here again, so that we feast in peace like we did upon our arrival in Antioch.
All blessings to you,

Gruffudd arrived in Duklja, capitol of the Serbian Empire, after a long journey.
The city and its port were huge, but Gruffudd knew his way.
Tourney was being organized in the honor of the return of the Order. Before addressing the event, Gruffudd headed towards the Imperial Court to take his new insignia for the Despot title of Greece he received from the Emperor. His seal had to be re-crafted.

Muslim hordes were gathering around Jerusalem, lead by Alar once again. The Holy Land was in danger, yet again because of this madman, unwilling to accept defeat.
Gruffudd assembled some noblemen around Duklja to join the Order of Saint Mathew into this holy quest.
The white cross on red field is held high once more.
Supplies, caravans, ships, horses, weaponry - the nation was on its feet, ready to give the mortal wound to the Shaytan of Fatimids.

Armies of the Order of Saint Matthew, Order of the Temple and the Knights of Hospitaller drove out the Muslim soldiers out of the Holy city of Jerusalem.
Soon after the recapture of the city, few Muslim raid parties tried to engage against the Christian forces, but they were easily defeated.
Gruffudd announced to the Christendom:
QUOTE:
Knights, ladies, good people of Our Lord, the Holy city of Jerusalem has been recaptured!
Armies of the Order of Saint Matthew, Order of the Temple and the Knights of Hospitaller now hold their ground against the Muslim hordes that are once again at the gates of Jerusalem!
Pray for your brothers in faith, to find strength to defeat these infidel armies that seek to cut off our pilgrim journeys for eternity!

Knights of the Order of St. Mathew arrived in Solun, the capital of Gruffudd's former Principality (Despotovina) of Greece.
Welcomed properly, the knights took rest on court, local taverns, tired of their long sea journey.
The rest would not last long, they were supposed to arrive at Duklja, the capital of the Serbian Empire.
Gruffudd sent few letters to inform the Tzar and the Patriarch of his arrival in Serbia.
