Back on topic, in my opinion Jessica vom Grefenstein should not be banned if he apologize and promise to behave from now on.
I never saw Anne losing her temper in more than two RL years we play this game. It's Anne in the first place that Jessica must apologize.

I was seeking to salvage something of value from a topic that is otherwise completely pointless, as Evian rightly stated, and my analysis is correct as far as I can see: at the time it was stated that it was not possible to ban only from the board, and I have now learned that Hoern has made a change to permit such (board only) bans to be made. This is germane to the issue, since a "board only" ban is a different matter to a complete ban.

A petition suggesting some measures against a player who disturb the game doesn't seems to me "completely pointless" and a topic giving you the chance to learn either.
I wonder why you did not consider "completely pointless" similar topics or why you keep spamming this one?
Is this a normal behavior, speaking of a moderator?

I affirm that I regard the other similar topics as also largely pointless, though I do think there is again an opportunity to improve the procedures of the CoK. A past opportunity to do this was squandered however, so I don't hold out much hope.

I'm afraid I do not agree with you here: spam is "unsolicited", that is, sent unilaterally and not in response to anything. All my messages are responses, with the exception of my petition.

In response to your post in this "completely pointless" topic, a bit different than similar topics who are only "largely pointless", but not so "completely pointless" after all, in some sense not pointless, we learned that Deaglan learned something (why he don't learn from topics made on purpose for him to learn, with tons of explanations is beyond my understanding).
His unsolicited post about what he learned (and what not), not related to the subject of course, should not be considered spam because learning it's an useful occupation and the people needs to be encouraged in doing this.
I for myself I spend many hours to provide him learning materials without any result so far. I'm glad that I had the opportunity to learn from him what the spam is (looks like I'm far more receptive and inclined to learning). Therefore this topic is not "completely pointless" or "largely pointless", taking in consideration the learning opportunities.

What was the subject? Popcorn?
