Well I was not suggesting we replace the current tavern, merely have a separate one. Mostly because RPing in a tavern where most don't want/aren't there to do that feels... well rude if i'm entirely honest, i just find it often makes more sense to have chats for RP only... hm

Maybe. The current tavern bothers me - not sure if it's just my browser, but every time I submit a chat, it reloads the entire thing. It's annoying and makes quick responses a bit difficult. -.- (Which you need when you're RPing. )

Not sure, but I still think we need a second, RP tavern. I agree with Caddoc about how it feels "rude" to RP whilst others aren't in the taverns. It's very awkward as well. Hence why I just don't go into it. Whilst I understand that we have a forum for RPing, Caddoc said a very good thing yesterday in the tavern. A tavern gives you the chance for faster-paced RP events, character development, relationship developments, and just general fun. (A tavern makes you think quicker as your character, so you explore them moreso than in an RP that you could take weeks to respond to.)

Personally, I'm mainly here for RPing and I know some others are probably here for that as well. (Not saying I'm not participating in the IG part, because I definitely am.) I think adding an RP tavern would be a good choice. RPing is what makes games like this more interesting and fun.

I think your somewhat missing the point... we mean a live chat, not a forum based RP, i only call it a tavern because that is the name usually given to such chats

Aye, the tavern we mean is a chat, like the one they have now. Forum RPs are great - I love them. But they don't give you the same opportunity to connect, get to know, explore, and expand your character like a live chat ("tavern" would. And I think one per nation would also be the best option, since it's RP wise.

Some nations have uplinked their private "tavern" chat on their nation's page. There is room on the nation's page to uplink an external url. Kings and chancellors can do it. You only have to find an external chatroom somewhere.

The game is unlikely to explicitly provide this service - since for the game as a whole, it is not so very beneficial. There are many nations small and large (out of 53) with players, who speak little English or are simply taciturn. Or nations, where only one player likes to chat - and that player goes to the public tavern to chat, because no one is there and available in the own nation.

You are currently providing a lot of entertainment to the public in the public tavern Ireland. I'd be sorry to see you all run away to some private tavern somewhere.
