QUOTE:

Honored Knights! Venerated Nobility!

The Roman Empire at Byzantium joyfully announces a wedding to be held in the Hagia Sophia, the Patriarchial Church in Constantinople:

The Gracious Queen-in-waiting Lady Graywolf is to marry The Blessed King of Armenia Ser Vukodav!

The ceremony will take place on the First of March 1012 (rt: 16.11.).

To celebrate their bond of matrimony, a tournament will be held.
We invite the knights and nobles of all nations to join!

The houses of Constantinople were flagged, the surroundings of the Hagia Sophia were beautifully decorated with Roses and Delphinums to match the colors of Armenia. The alleys were filled with people anticipating the Armenian entourage moving from the harbour to the Patriarchal Church.

But no knights appeared, not the beautiful bride nor the noble groom. The people fluttered as did the Byzantine nobility awaiting the Armenian convoy at the port.

When an imperial trireme entered the Golden Horn, the crowd began to cheer. But the flagging signs on board of the ship ended the joy. People muttered to each other about what might have happened.

Julian entered the trireme as soon as it had docked. Bad news! On its way West the Armenian entourage had been assaulted by Mordvinian forces! Many had been encarcerated, possibly even the king and his bride!

Julian looked to the crowds on the pier. Canceling the feast would cause a lot of disturbance. The people would already be very concerned by hearing about the events in the East. "The tournament will be held. Prepare for an immediate departure after it!"

Tournament has started and already some favorites gone through the first round, but also we had some upsets.

The guard won against Brave Akkball II which was a big surpise, while Sir Humbalot didn't make any favor to the Emperor Nicetius and he passed to the second round.

Big fight was among Julian and Golwitzer but the quality has prevailed while favorites like Lady Zora ,Lady Camy and Taurus Balcanicus didn't had any troubles to qualify also the 2nd round.

Justin, well, he had to face his own wife as the draw was like this, he tried to spare her a little but she was too weak for this duel.
He smiled at her and whisper to her after the end of the duel:
"Maybe next time my dear when you get a little bit stronger"

Justin face Juilan to the 2nd round and he hopes for a great and fair fight.
