QUOTE:
I would like to thank all the knights who showed their spirit and Honor throughout this tournament.

A brotherly salute to the Syrian monarch, Tehalon of Derby.
Thank you for coming such a long way to join us and share in these fetes of strength and skill.
~~You honor us by your presence. Please join us again in any contests you wish.

I am glad to also say the man who bested me in duel also went on to win the tournament.
~~A situation which takes some off the sting out of my own defeat.

The Champion in the melee by a narrow margin AND the Champion of the duels Is hereby announced the Tournament Knights Champion!
The Free Knight Hubertsberg wins the glory of these days festivities! We salute You!
~~unfortunately I cannot pin the award to his plate steel armor!

A special thanks to the knights of Armenia for their participation.
~~Take a bow and better luck next time.

And above all I wish to thank my own knights, Military Governors Ralen and Kyross for their unflagging support and tenacity.
~~Without you this nation would be a place of barbarism and chaotic and petty aristocratic despots.
Without you their would have been no Nation to hold this tournament in. I bow to You.

Now let us feast and drink toasts to each of our brothers and sisters, praying that all may continue their journeys home safely.
To Knights of Skill and Honor!

With his speach done a huge flagon of ale is raised by the Grand Master, Bruno Faustus, and passed around for all the knights to share a drink from. A feast of celebration is brought out to the great joy of the hungry knights. Happily, even the civilians who came to watch are served late into the night and the atmosphere of goodwill and unity lasts into the wee hours of the morning after!

Watching all with a smile Bruno allows a short lived moment of regret and thinks to himself....Maybe the world will have enough peace in it by next year to get even more knights to come.
