So it was over. The war on the north. Overseeing the preparations for march of his men, Hyrkan thought to himself; "Another meaningless bloody war has come to an end... this war has brought nothing but plundered villages, slain peasants and of course more stains of blood on my sword... A more tiring than usual war though, chasing a mad heretic who's plundering your lands is much harder than fighting straightforward and honorably an equal foe." then shouted to his battalion captain:
-Scipion, set marching course due east! I have a land i need to take care of now that this mess is over...
-As you will sire. "WE MARCH DUE EAST MEN!"
-Do not tire the men though Scipion, they've had enough in these bloody mountains. We need not hurry anywhere, time is a luxury we can afford during peaceful times
-Yes sire, in a loose marching formation we should reach Thessaloniki in 3 days.
-Good, you are dismissed Scipion.

The next day the army entered the serbian domain, and marched by the fort of Lagada. Hyrkan couldn't help but remember:
-There used to be a day when the Vergina sun used to wave proudly upon that fort Scipion...
-Indeed sire, but it is no use being nostalgic, the people showed their will.
-I know Scipion.. I know but It stills saddens my heart... I lost some people dear to me during the upheaval of the revolution.
-I was not aware of this sire, i am sorry.
-Nothing to be sorry about Scipion, my brother is resting in God's arms now...
-So you lost your brother in the streetfights?
-Yes, he was part of the companion cavalry, his squadron was shattered by a band of traitors that backstabbed them in the defence of the southern gate. No report came back from their squadron, except for one survivor that said that most died on the instant but others where taken captive, for ransom i suppose. I find myself wondering at nights, what if Stylianos wasn't killed? What if he is somewhere out there? But if he was, he would have shown up until now. No, there is no point in hoping for things impossible, let us keep moving.
-As you wish lord.

Anno Domini 1014

Stylianos pressed his hand against a wall in an attempt to keep his balance gasping and moaning every step he made caused excruciating pain"I cant stay like this i need help" dead men all around him in small pools of blood."who did this?"he thought.
He walked outside a great gate, that looked somewhat familiar. At a a small distance there was an entrance to a small forest. Walking from one tree to the other he reached a small river there he stopped for a while to rest and tend to his wounds.Removing his armor he noticed a deep cut on his chest near the heart. He removed all of his clothing and teared his sleeves into small pieces which he then put into the water and with them cleaned his wounds after that he used all the dry scraps to bandage any major wounds he dressed up then leaned to the banks to drink some water and poor some water on his face opening his eyes he looked at his reflection"who am i?"
