QUOTE: Mutual Protection Pact:
Terms:
1) The signers of the Mutual Protection Pact, called "the Pact" in the following sections, are: the Kingdom of Poland, the Serbian Empire (includes the Kingdom of Hungary), called "Signers" in the following sections.
2) The Pact becomes valid when both sides mentioned in section 1 sign this document.
3) The Pact remains valid until year 1035, when it may be extended by the agreement of both Signers.
4) The Pact can be modified after being signed if the both signers agree to the changes made.
5) The aim of this Pact is to improve the quality of defenses of the Signers.
6) If any of the Signers is attacked by any other nation, one of the Signers may ask the other for Military Assistance.
7) The Signers cannot refuse to send Military Assistance and they are obligated to defend territory of other Signer.
8) Exceptions. The Signers can refuse to send Military Assistance
- in offensive war of Signer even if it takes place on theirs territory
- on new territories conquered by other Signer in current war
9) Additionally the Kingdom of Poland is not obligated to participate in "Italian war", even if it would go on Serbian Lands
