Chronicles of Erin      09.06.2011 06:56:24 --- 11 Months, 2 Weeks ago
The time on sea was boring and mostly unertained. Fallen looked at the sea towards her Island, when she decided to write her story. A story of a woman of Erin

QUOTE:
This is my story so far. I hope that, when I cross over to the Other World, I hope that this will be useful to Ireland.

Cúige Uladh, An Mhumhain,Laighin and Connachta*. The four provinces of Erin. Home to the proud Irish and Gaelic warriors. Believers of nature and magic. Worshippers of Lugh, Morrigan, Dagda and many other Gods and Godesses. But mostly an Island behind Brittania.

Brittania. An Island I curse, well at least the south of it. My Pictish and Cymric** brothers are still in my heart. Let me tell you why I hate the other part of it.

The story begins on the 16th of July 1003. The day that PimpyMac, later known as PimpyMac the Uniter, was crowned as Rí of Erin. I was then 14 years old, too young to join his army. When he received the crown, Erin was nothing more but one province that of Laighin. On the 10th of August that year, I was finally old enough to fight for my country. Because I came from a Noble house, I got the rank of Ridire, knight of Erin. In just 4 years, PimpyMac has conquered the four provinces of Erin, Cúige Uladh, An Mhumhain,Laighin and Connachta, and unified them under one banner. The harped banner of Laighin.

In the year of 1008, Ireland went on a raid, together with our allies, Denmark, Sweden and Norway, towards England. With some victories and defeats, PimpyMac decided to go back home.

We skip the time till the 16th of January 1010. The Great PimpyMac decided to retire from the throne and military duties. After a vote by the Irish Nobles, Seighin Cumhaill was crowned as the first Banríon of Erin. Later she will be known as Seighin the Mighty.

At that time, the population in Erin has become too big for our Island, so Seighin formed a couple of colonisation- armies. I was then 21 and better experienced than before, so not long after we captured some free land on the Gallic ground, Seighin promoted me to the rank of Chuntaois, Count of Erin. My land was commonly known as Guyenne, but secretly I called it New-Erin. After more occupations and small battles, we were at our best. The mountain's peak was conquered. And there was the fall of our mighty kingdom.

Erin had and has a history of faith. First we had our own gods, under PimpyMac we had both ours and the nordic Gods, under Seighin we were a multicultural kingdom.

But then Seighin retired from the throne on the 1th of May 1020. Her succesor was her sister. Molly Cumhaill. By us known as Molly the Warrior, by our enemies The Green Witch, Molly the Warmonger and The Green Pestilence. Molly was a devoted catholic woman, although Erin was still a multicultural kingdom, she spoke as a real catholic towards her enemies. Of course, the Ridires and Larlas/Chuntaoises had their doubts, but we stood firmly behind and in front of our Banríon. And this is were Brittania came in. At the reign of Seighin, Erin was becoming part of an alliance that was called the Sacred Romania Imperium, otherwise known as SRI. Unfortunaly this alliance broke, because Poland, a member of the alliance, left the alliance and so the whole alliance collapsed. By then, Ireland joined another alliance together with the Picten, English (I see them still as AngloSaxon) and the Saxons. And there the end began.

The reign of Molly was from the 1th of May 1020 till the 15th of May 1027. So from my age from 30 years till 37 years. Before that time, I was never been restrained or imprisoned and I had not a single clue how it could be. But that had become very clear to me, because I was more imprisoned than Erin knew their Rulers. It was also the first time that Erin was openly attacked. Well several times to be honest. First Finland, then Spain and the lost of our colonies in the Iberian and Gaul. A dark cloud has felt over Erin in that days.

At the end of Molly's reign, Richard I the Lionheart became Regent of Erin, untill the people of Erin chose their new Rí or Banríon. The decision was made on the 13th of July 1027.

That was the day I shall never forget. That was the day I, FallenAngel Uxihustru became the Banríon of Erin, ruler of Cúige Uladh, An Mhumhain,Laighin and Connachta. And then I knew what the gods wanted from me.

At that day, Erin had some colonies close to Saxon. And except for the castle that was all that remained of the once Great Erin. It was up to me to re-unite Erin under the harped banner. And as I called it, the war of Rebirth had begun.

It took me 1 1/2 year to unite Erin again under her banner, and now 5 days 4 months and 8 years later, everything was just the same as in the time of PimpyMac, inclusive the Old Pagan Alliance, the Gods and the enemies.

This is my story so far. May the gods guide you on your time on this world, and I shall welcome you on the Other when my time has come.
