Linus reached the age to be called grown up just some days ago. Now he could leave his home and try to find his own way in the world. He did not know what the Lord planned for him, the only thing he knew was that he has to leave the lands he was born in. He wanted to search for God and ti serve him with his life. For this he had to leave the east an travel to the west... So he started his search for his life...

After some time of travelling Linus reached a region where the people were talking about a christian order, holding shires int the holy land and forming a nation called Antioch. Linus, in his search of his way, listened the stories an decided to take the path tho the shires.. He was eager to learn if this Order could be a home for him. Despite the circumstance that he never had talked with one of those knights he wanted to enter their area and try to make his first experience with those knights, fighting for the holy cross...

A little unit of the Order of the Hospitallers was moving along the north-western border of Antioch. In a lonesome and rough part of Kaisareia they met a young knight travelling alone through the area. They spoke to him friendly and asked him for the target of his journey. The stranger - called Linus - asked the commander about the Order of the Hospitallers. After some explanations he wanted to meet more of the Antioch knights. So the commander gave him the advice to search the Prince of Antioch. Last message said that he was moving with an army near the northern border of Antioch to check the pilgrim routes to Jerusalem. At last they gave him some goods and fresh water for the next days.
