Hi guys!

I've already mailed Hoern with this, but surely he's got a lot of work to do, so maybe we should discuss it here. I would like to ask to change the title for female ruler in Poland to "King".

In medieval Poland, the title "queen" was used only in reference to King's wife. It was not an inheritable title, nor gave it any real power. Polish female rulers instead were crowned as "Rex" (king in latin), not "Regina" (queen in latin). The best and most famous example is King Jadwiga of Poland, for which a wide article is available and English wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jadwiga_of_Poland

I hope changing this title in-game will help some players to roleplay a little better.

I wanted to see opposing opinions, but as there are non and the title is Historically accurate I don't see why not

I dont see why not so you should vote for it... but you will have to wait looong time for that change to be made

Borna is correct, we voted for the Fatimid title changes 2,3 months ago and still they haven't changed. So I can't see your proposal taken in action in less than half a year.

Perhaps if council vote now Hoern can make changes same time he will change Fatimids...

Maria , in truth you don't even need the Council's approval for this. That's because if the ruler of a nation decides to change the titles than that can be done without the approval of the Council. It's let's say a prerogative of the ruler. The approval of the Council is more or less a formality.

I also recommend you to message Eddard about this because Hoern might be very busy and he might not have enough time to do it.

If your change is historically accurate than it will be done regardless of what the Council says.

All the title changes (country, shire, titles) should be submitted to the CoK. There isn't such a thing as "the ruler of the nation prerogative".
