Note of Protest 14.10.2011 12:48:33 --- 7 Months, 1 Week ago

|
To all nations involved
QUOTE:
Honorable sovereigns,
Peace has come to Europe finally after the signed agreement, I am sending a copy of it in this attachment in case you forgot what you signed.
Are words wind? If so, on what will we stand?
The treaty clearly calls for peace, that lasts for 5 years, and signing the treaty means that you will stay in peace with the other signers until the treaty ends.
The conflict between Poland and Rostov can be negotiated, do not lose remaining trust people have in your words by breaking them as you please.
Supporting the aggressive act of Rostov by attacking Poland while they are busy on the other side of Europe will not be left without intervention.
I call out to you, do not lose your senses, preserve the peace that we made after so many years.

QUOTE: Dear Gruffod,
I have read your note, but I do not get your point. The contract we have signed ended the war Serbia, Sicily and Hungary has brought upon Burgundy, Italy and Croatia. Many allies were involved and the allies of both sides signed that they will also stop any attacks on these nations.
Meanwhile Poland declared war upon the signers of our contract proposal. As it was a bit strange wording our nation send the confirmation back that we and all other signees received the declaration of war which was send to the court of king Maria and remained unanswered for months.
Therefore it is Poland who continues a war they started against us, but we remember the relations between Poland and Serbia and therefore will not ask you to attack Poland as they are the ones who kept the conflict open.
Hopefully this explains our position and we can soon get back diplomatic answers from Poland so there will be no other eternal war.
With best regards
Denis de Fecamp
Grand Duke of Burgundy

QUOTE:
To Grand Duke Denis De Fecamp of Burgundy,
I have heard rumors of your faction of allies claiming that the peace wasn't made with Poland, but with Serbia, because the treaty relates to Balkan conflict, but if we look through that perception, then Poland's declaration of war was only in relation with conflict in Balkan, so the treaty, even if interpreted in a controversial way like your faction did, still protects the Poland from continuation of the war.
Even if we start to manipulate the interpretations of the treaty, and find that a new declaration of war against Poland, unrelated to Balkan area, would not mean that the previous treaty is broken, the act would still be in poor manner.
For years peace is called upon, to end senseless destruction of Christian Europe, and now when we finally found peace, a new campaign is on the sight, and it seems this one will be equally long or perhaps even longer, and why? Because Russian principalities called for assistance in backstabbing Poland?
Those Principalities were never looked upon from the "West", even rudely distanced when some tried to participate in theological discussions, as if they are inferior, why such interest now?
Not even an attempt of negotiations was made to end the conflict peacefully, armies immediately started to gather against Poland on the first hint of justification for conflict.
I do not understand this situation, why is this war so pursued. Is it some kind of vengeance?
Sincerely,

"To Gruffudd, Prince of Serbia, Grand Master of the Order of St. Mathew,
your most honorable excellency,
I honor your good intentions, but what you wrote to the Grand Duke, who gave a copy of the writing to us, is not true. It was Poland, who attacked Pridneprovska after signing the peace proposed by your emperor Ljudislav.
As Poland knew, Pridneprovska was claimed by the Pechenegs and acknowledged in the peace treaty of the war of the Order, Byzantium and Poland against the Pechenegs.
So it was Poland, who first violated the peace contract - and as it was the second time they attacked our sphere of interest without any declaration of war in a sneak attack - and we are talking here about a nation seven times as numerous as the Pechenegs - they left us nothing else to react than declaring war on them.
What value has a peace, if there is another nation who still does what it wants without obeying the rules of international right and justice?
With best regards
Papikaze of Kyoto
Foreign minister of the Pechenegs
And still a friend of Serbia!"
