To Rostov and Smolensk      20.10.2011 15:18:49 --- 7 Months ago
QUOTE:
To Prince Appo of Smolensk,
To Grand Duke Avis von Cheshire,
To all interested parties,

We, the Kingdom of Poland believe, that all of our nations have suffered enough in this war already. We wish to start peace negotiations, but before that, an immediate cease-fire is needed, as our people do not need to suffer during our negotiations. We offer a cease fire under the following conditions:

1. Armies of Smolensk and Rostov withdraw peacefully to their countries with the quickest route possible
2. Armies of the Kingdom of Poland withdraw peacefully to their homeland with the quickest route possible
3. All hostile actions on the territories of the Eastern Poland, Rostov, Smolensk and Kiev are to be immedietely stopped.
4. The cease-fire agreement is valid from the moment when it is signed by representants of Smolensk, Rostov and Poland
5. The peace negotiations will start immedietely after signing this document by representants of Smolensk, Rostov and Poland

With regards,
King Maria Leszczynska of Poland

To madam Maria Polska,

We are religious and patriarchal nation, so our women have obligation to rule household and children, according dogma of our Holy Orthodox Church and Apostolic Heritage , but not the matters of war and peace. This is mans job. So if Poland have no skillful and strong enough men to rule their country, I hope that they can find at least one man to speak on behalf of polish men with us about war matters.

Secondly, Rostovians are men of honor and our words are more secure promise then mountain of your meaningless papers and treaties. As we can see your papers don't work and never will work. Real man have strong hand with sword and his honor and no need in paper to keep his promises.

Rostovian knyaz promise that he will see Kiev with no polish puppets in it or will die fighting. As i was informed by my ministers i am not dead and polish bandits still hiding in kievan walls.

So we will fight and no cease-fire is acceptable until our demands are satisfied!

Grand Knyaz of Rostov
and Defender of all Russian who asked for help

To Poland and all belligerents in this conflict:

I welcome your desire for a ceasefire, however I would like to point out a number of important aspects that have to be cleared before we could lay down our arms.

1. You have not included Kiev in your ceasefire agreement as if its opinion does not matter at all, this is a bit worrying for us and we have to make a number of clarifications. It is as if Kiev has no opinion whatsoever. Also, because of that you have left the fate of Kiev undecided. If we are to sign anything, we want to be clear on that point, as my Knyaz already explained, we have started the war for a specific reason. We will be inclined to sign if you meet the following demands:

1.1 Withdraw all the Kiev knights into your own nation (not anywhere else) and leave Kiev under Russian administration.
1.2 Officially renounce any claims of defending the East.
1.3 Officially relinquish meddling of any sort into the external or internal politics of countries lying east of the current borders of Finland/Novgorod/Lithuania/Poland/Bulgaria and north of the Prikubanskaja castle (415). This includes the inability to sign alliances with countries east of that line or to use events happening east of that line as a casus belli.
1.4 Official obligation that Polish armies under no circumstances unless given the explicit permission of Rostov , Smolensk, Pechenegs, and Khazar will cross the line mentioned in 1.3. Otherwise the four nations could consider this as a proper reason for war with Poland.

3. A ceasefire including only the Eastern countries would mean that you have the time to shift forces against the West, so any ceasefire has to be agreed upon by all belligerents fighting in this conflict, especially the countries that have chosen to help Rostov and Smolensk. However, we do not think that a ceasefire giving an advantage to Poland against our friends is anything sustainable, so we would like to discuss an end to the hostilities altogether and not to prolong the war by ceasefires alongside all nations fighting in the current war.

To Valdemar von Vetinari, Foreign Minister of Rostov,

Unfortunately your counter-proposal is at the moment unacceptable. Until a cease-fire is reached, we cannot discuss something like that what you have offered. Some parts of this offer may be reconsidered only during the peace negotiations.

We have not included Kiev in this cease-fire treaty on purpose. We believe that Kiev needs to negotiate it's cease-fire or peace with you on themselves. Poland is willing to withdraw from this conflict, as it serves nothing good - neither to Poland, Kiev, Rostov or Smolensk.

Please, for the sake of innocent souls of your and our people, accept our cease-fire treaty.

King Maria Leszczynska of Poland
