In a game that is ultimately about war? Knight's honor has no honor system, no complex economical system or to put in another way no other system then the system for making war.
of course some of you might say Knight's Honor is about Role Playing... Newsflash I am into tabletop roleplaying since my early high school years and I can tell you if it was just about roleplaying then all those cool fief income, shiny armor and high weapon skill abilities are a waste of space since they do not limit - or help you - define your character in any way (apart from the fact that his armor upgrades as his wealth improves) for example. All RP related posts I've seen so far are either totally detached from the game itself, or simply use major events to link their characters so they seem to exist within the realm of KoH. Therefore KoH system contributes little to the RP part of the game and a pure fiction forum would do nearly as much good.
Then we have war and politics. And the rotten apple. In a game where you wage as the only means to express your character prowess we've got sooo many peace lovers. I am not viewing merely the recent Rostov-Kiev-Poland engagement (for which Rostov actually has a solid CB

), but my overall impression of the game cycle for the previous months I've played. It appears that the cycle goes
Country ruler X gets bored because there isn't really anything much to be done besides waging war and DOWs someone.
Country ruler Z declares he will defend peace against the agression
Country ruler A and B join X because they are bored as well, not because they support a or could gain anything out of a war on the other side of the map
Country rulers C and D join Z in his fight for survival for the same reason of A and B, but they also feel righteous about it!
Both sides pillage each other until resources is exhausted and they make peace, rebuild, get bored and repeat the cycle
Now this wouldn't necessary be a bad thing because it involves wars, but the hypocrisy of the peace propaganda warfare is disgusting. Without war this game is dead. Aggressors the god guys here, not the bad. And what's worse most often then not the GOOD TM guys go and pillage their enemies instead of chivalrously defending the weak (yes i am looking at Poland pillaging Smolensk and Rostov while Kiev has 0 shires atm, but I am just biased about the example

). So why not abandon the hypocrisy and play the Dark Ages of opportunism, backstabbing, shifting alliances and constant warfare on local scale and pillaging raids. What exactly are titles Like Defender of Boredom for the East or 5 year peace treaties between the whole world trying to accomplish. The same goes for the most powerful countries allying each other. Yes - noone dares attack you. The game stagnates. What happens? Nothing... total dullness... except kicking out bored knights out of the game that aren't even allowed to post in the only board involving in game communication between the players - the country Diplomacy section..
