So why not abandon the hypocrisy and play the Dark Ages of opportunism, backstabbing, shifting alliances and constant warfare on local scale and pillaging raids.
Are you joking? You didn't noticed any of these in this game?
Oh, and I will add something on peace. In my opinion, new players want some stability on the beginning, without it they can perceive the game as a waste of time, and it's a job of the nation to provide a good place to live in.
So you're saying you would prefer tons more sides, smaller. More like local warlords out for whatever they can get whether it's against people in their own "country" or not. At least that's what sounds like the dark ages to me.
I guess you could call me a new player. I've been around for a few months, but i have very little experience with anything. I've never been in a war. I fought a duel once, I run a shire and a fief. Running the shire isn't very exciting, I did like 1-2 upgrades and that's all I've done with it. I would think more knights would enjoy tournaments, buit as i said I don't really know anything.
I do prefer some stability for startng out I will say. If I can't build up my fiefdom a bit to get money income, how can I get decent armour and weapons to survive in battle? I will admit that this is kind of boring. Most days I can't do anything after logging in, nobody is in the tavern when i am online. There are 8 people online right now, lol. However every online game I've seen seems to be shrinking, the bad economy I think.
