James read the report and could not believe his eyes.. this liar and cheater, son of a convicted criminal, an agent infiltrated in the Papal States dare to call the Archbishop of Canterbury "madman" only because he stand firm against this serpent trying to overthrow the Church authority??
Furthermore he threat England with excommunication because England raise in defending the church and English representative in the Conclave with imprisonment??
In the most unlikely case that Ban Moreplovac plot will succeed and he will be elected, obviously he will get no support from England.
Instead repent himself in humility after the outrageous attempt to put his secretary to vote for himself and remove his opponent, he insult the nation and the man who invite him to run for the pope and make all the efforts the elections Conclave to take place. Such a person obviously possessed wants to lead the Christian world??
This so called brother have no business there in the Conclave and Ban Moreplovac is a liar when he says that he speaks for the Papal States. Nobody gives him the right to speak for Vatican, decide excommunications, imprison English representative or insult people around!
The Papal States not even support him for the pope!! How he could be elected when even Vatican do not support him?
Who is this bishop over the night, other than the son of a convicted murderer? Right.. Nobody. SO let's call him in a proper way: Mr. Nobody, repent yourself or you'll be chased down and handed over the justice!
You can hide in lies from men, but you cannot hide from God, you idiot!

Nothing further was heard in Rome from Archbishop James, Bishop Fenwick hoped his Archbishop had not suffered an apoplectic fit on reading the latest reports from Rome.
Bishop Fenwick turned back to his silent fellow bishps gathered in the papal audience hall:
"So, Your Excellencies, what are your opinions on our candidates - for whom do you vote?"

After everything that was said, this was the question Bishop Chepni was waiting for. So without any hesitation at all he stood up and said:
The Petcheneg delegation votes for Bishop Ban Matej Moreplovac!

With the medicine bottle refilled, Lindsay joyously salute the new day.
"It seems that Wan Boreplovac get a strong support.. we don't want to vote the wrong person, don't we?"
Lindsay come closer, embrace Boreplovac and kiss him on both checks.
Your Eminency, I'm serjously thinking of voting you!
A bit tired of the effort, he sit down for a deeper thinking who soon looks more like a deeper sleeping.
Well, the Archbishop of Edinburgh cannot be blamed, he pray to God all night while looking for his reserve of medicine who appear to be lost. Only in the morning his prays was listened and he got the inspiration to look in the kilt pocket.

The bishop of Antioch, John of Ajalon, stood up to to give his vote. He had recapitulated all spoken words and arguments. Because he got no answers to his questions from wilhelm de montferrat he decided to vote for the other candidate. The word of the changing from Saulus to Paulus would be applied in case of doubt to Bishop Ban Matej Moreplovac too.
So John of Ajalon, bishop of Antioch and emissary of the Principality of Antioch, said:
I give my vote to Bishop Ban Matej Moreplovac. He shall become the new pope.
With this words all necessary was spoken and he sat down again.

Bishop Bozydar Kalisz stood up as well, helping himself with an oak cane. Without much hesitation, he spoke: "My vote goes for Wilhelm de Montferrat. I cannot see a son of the Butcher as a new Pope.".

Farhad Ibn Bahram listened all the discussions, all the words spoken from so many men of god between several weeks. After all, Wilhelm de Montferrat made a good impression to Aragons bishop. Farhad took some time for his decision, but after it, he stood up and spoke.
I vote for Wilhelm de Montferrat as our new pope.

" Lindsay almost felt the wind on the hills playing with the thistles.
You see.. a stranger would never understand all this about Scotland.
Yuck! Those do the Englishmen with their fancy clothes never try to make a rule of this?"
While laughing, his arm hit the bench and he woke up. He needed a few moments to realize that he was still in Rome.
This is not a decision to make in haste.. Did I miss something?
