I think the Council should support derg88 and any other player in this situation. We cannot afford to lose good active players, especially one with a charming RP.

He was kicked accidentally, as a sovereign of his realm I confirm this.

I'm not sure why Hoern insists upon it, but the current rule is wrong, and should be changed.
It should be changed both in the case of an accidental banishment and also a deliberate one.
Historically banishment was a temporary punishment, which could later by rescinded by the monarch. When this happened, the banished Knight's possessions where restored (at least in part, the monarch may have taken a portion).
So in KH, when the King readmits a banished Knight to the realm, it should be possible for that Knight to get his fief back. Only when a Knight leaves of his own accord should he lose his fief.

In my view, a mistake is a mistake and I'm sure we'd all love to have an Undo button for them every now and than, but that's never the case. Usually, we must suffer the consequences for making them. I suppose that would be an argument in favor of the current system and a solid one I might say, but one that would work in favor of mistakes that have consequences on the person who made the mistake in the first place. Which brings me to my next paragraph.
In his case, derg38 lost his fiefdom due to another player's mistake, which means he is not subject to the above argument. Therefore it would be a proof of...inflexibility if one would deprive derg38 of his fiefdom just because a Serbian Chancellor pushed the wrong button.
One thing puzzles me though: the Banish button was moved from the My Nation screen to individual knight's screen especially to avoid such mistakes from ever happening again. Than how on Earth did the Serbian Chancellor push the wrong button when on the individual knight screen there's only a single button in the entire screen?
Seems to me like it might have been more than an accidental press of a button...but than again it's only me making assumptions...

Looking at it logically, why wouldn't the Emperor of the state be unable to give back the lands of a banished knight back to him when he gets back?
So I don't see how is this contradicting, as you put it, Alar.

Well, anyway, the case is pretty much closed since the Council gave its unanimous vote on the matter.
